Open a new form

Question

Hi guys I am relatively new to .NET and C#. I am trying open a new form when a button is clicked on an already existing form ( Just like a new window opens on clicking a link in a web browser). I am pretty sure that there must be an easy way to these. Also it would be great if someone can explain how to use the 'linkLabel' feature. Thanks in advance.

LinkLabel: You need to add LinkClicked event handler and then - it's up to what will happend. In below example I use linkLabel to open default browser with linkLabel.Text URL in my case linkLabel.Text = http://www.robinland.com: private void linkLabel1_LinkClicked(object sender System.Windows.Forms.LinkLabelLinkClickedEventArgs e) { System.Diagnostics.Process.Start(linkLabel1.Text); } To open new form - create it in designer for example as Form2 then: private void linkLabel1_LinkClicked(object sender System.Windows.Forms.LinkLabelLinkClickedEventArgs e) { Form2 newForm = new Form2(); newForm.Show(); } And one more advice: it is a good thing to learn how to use MSDN - there are a lot of help and examples.
