performance problems

iam working in web application and i have performance problems iam using ASP.NET 2.0 and SQL SERVER 2005 i know that the problem root is sql can any one provide me a good way for sql writting and connecting to server smoothly *i tried stored procedures but not solve thanks

If your performance hit is with only Queries try to use bind variables in the queries so that the query plan is not build every time. If the queries are very complex and if almost similar queries are used in several places make them as views in database. If you are using datasets try data readers in that place if possible.
