Question - how to hide some data after build

Hello How can i hide some data after i build a project? For example i build my project but if i open it (the .exe file) with an hex editor i can see some informations.. and i don't want other to see it. How can i hide or crypt or anything else? ty

use obfuscator Software that comes with Visual Studio to protect codes like this.

What is the result of converting to base 64? I assume that would not be recognizable. Does this give the required result? if (user2 == Encoding.ASCII.GetString(new byte[] { 53 56 49 53 54 52 51 50 55 50 54 52 52 })) { Console.Write(Checking license .... OK); } I've just converted the constant 5815643272644 into bytes and used Encoding.ASCII.GetString to convert it to a string.

With a hex editor you say... It's actually worse than that you can extract your entire sourcecode with a tool like reflector or ILSpy. I've heard about obfuscators that can change the code a bit to make it less readable for those decompilers. But it probably won't do any good against hex editors... If you have a string that you want to hide you could write some code that takes a constant array of data and forms it into the string you need. What kind of information do you want to hide?
