requiredfieldvalidator at runtime

Question

hi i'm creating a certain number of textboxes at runtime and i then want to make sure the user enters some text into them. i have this code but validation is not occuring. [CODE] for (int i = 1; i { TextBox tb = new TextBox(); tb.ID = tbName + i; RequiredFieldValidator rfv = new RequiredFieldValidator(); rfv.ID = required + i; rfv.ControlToValidate = tb.ID; rfv.ErrorMessage = Name is a required field; rfv.Enabled = true; [/CODE]

Hi !! to use any validation control in your case (required field validator)  you have to give validation group to that validatior as well as to the button on which's click u want certain validations to be fired. and one more thing is u need to add those validator to the page . I think u should provide proper code so that i can get idea... Thanks.
