Resizing the width of a dropdownlist when the drop down arrow is selected

Hi All

Does anyone know how to resize the width of a dropdownlist when the drop down arrow is selected in ASP.NET.  I just want the drop down portion to be resized when the drop down arrow is selected and not the dropdownlist itself.  Would appreciate any help.
