same connection string for different database

Question

I m new to c# lang. I m developing c# framework as final BE project.I want to aSK CAN I use oledb for opening all databases according to user requirement(sql,oracle,ms access).Is it possible? any other solution please tell me and can any one help me for ,I want to generate crystal report from database from above declare on button click event.Please if possible send me code.

Yes you can use OLEDB to access SQL Server Access and many other databases. I assume Oracle too but I am not totally sure. I think that if you use OLEDB then you will only need to change the connection string to change the database but it is not clear to me whether you need to develop an application that uses only specific table definitions (schemas) or an application that can use tables of any definition.

you have to chose any of them.. and based on that whole project will be developed. sql ms-access etc are back end that means all the database work storing and retrieving data will be done by them first you have to decide using which type of database you want develop your project i.e you want to use accesssql And based on that different classes are are available which provide methods for database operations.
