schedule a daily job

Hello everyone I have written an EXE. And I want to - schedule a job and let the EXE run daily at 12:00pm; - write a script which could install the job into a computer (i.e. the installation script for the job). Are there any reference documents or samples which I could make a reference? thanks in advance George

Thanks! My purpos is simple I just schedule my application to run everyday at about 12:00pm. Actually I think a more elegant way to implemne tis to use Create Job API. But dues to my limited knowledge about vbscript I do not know how to rewrite this script into for example C#. Yes sure you can develop a web service that starts whith the computer by puting it in the startup list of the windows os you can create a object within your webservice a sort of time comparer it compares the current time to the desired time if they are equals then the action is perfomed

How to make a web services run in regular time interval? Web service I think is not running but passively being waiting for being called. Could you clarify your ideas please? regards George

You can devlop a webservice that will be responsible for starting the given exe at the given time You can add an installer class to you project and write a script to leverage some actions during the installation
