Selecting data and time from data time from datetime picker control.

Question

When I select the Date from the datetime picker control it Automatically selects the current system time. I want that the user can select the time(time for future booking) not the current time. what should I do? Is there any option for this? Regards Farooq

You would think this would be more straight forward. Microsoft gives you the choice of having a dtPicker do a date or a time. It actually lets you do both too it just doesn't advertise it. Not even in the documentation! You need to change the dtPicker's Format Property. Set it to Time if you want to let the user select a time. If you want to get both a date and time you need to set the Format Property to Custom then in the CustomFormat Property you give it a mask. This mask makes a really big ugly field but it shows you all the parts and demonstrates what you can do with it. MMMM dd yyyy - dddd hh:mm:ss You really have to wonder why Microsoft didn't make a Short Date/Time format. They could have at lease documented better how we can do it ourselves. Good luck.
