session variable

Question

Hello!!!
i am developing an application in asp.net with c#. My problem is that i have taken a linkbutton on master page. Now whenever the user click on link button the session should be expired and control should be transfered to the login page...
And it must not allow the user to do any other operation after logout so how can i use session variable for my application

well you can just use it as an indicator to know if you are logged in like if (Session[LoggedIn] == null && Request.AbsolutUri.Url.ToString() != your login page) { response.Redirect(to your login page); } you will place this in the masterpage render event and thats it if the session variable is null you will redirect to login otherwise allow to proceed
