sessions

Question

Hai all i hope as a student i can irritate all of you with my disgusting doughts and thansk for accepting me in this wonderful site. to day i have a scenario like holding some of DB colums into next page using sessions so far i have writteen this login page Session[Username] =txtusername.Text; string [] str= (string[]).Session[Username].ToString(); now i want to display this txtusername.text in other textbox whis is in next page so i tried with this string name = Application[Username].ToString(); TxtUname.Text=Session[Username].ToString(); it doesnt work..can you please hel me out

Hi Are you beginner then study the basics of .Net.Checking if session variable is not equal to null.When value is present in the session we will consider otherwise the texbox in second page show empty value. It works sir but i dont understand onething if (Session[ Username ] != null ) i dont understand how this line works.. can you please tell me why?

Thanku sir it gives no error..but my target is to show first page user name in second page text box... it returns nothing but empty text box in second page but in first page i got value TIA
