SharePoint Online - Update custom User Profile Property

Question

Just want to know if it is possible for the O365 admin to update a custom SharePoint Online user property for all users with distinct values. Eg. I have a custom UserProfile Property EmpID. I want to update this property for all users in my tenant with distict values. I am using SharePoint Online.

Dude  I asked same question to Microsoft and you have just posted the very same link. This does not work for a custom user property Can you suggest me a way to make it working so that I can update a custom property distinctly for bulk users.
