SIMPLE pROJECT: C# about SOUND LEVEL METER using VISUAL ST

Hello there I would like to get a link or some explanation step by step about how I may create a SOUND LEVER METER(For controling my music playlist with an app like this). I need to use C#  Visual studion and a card: velleman k8055. Thank you all for your help!
