Software Development or Testing?

Hello I am Christy. I have one year experience in software testing. At the same time I have sound knowledge in dot net c#. I prefer a secured job with good salary. Please advise whether testing domian is good? Or shall i change my field to development?

Its not about your past experience. If you have passion towards development  switch your path right now because its easy to move from testing to development in your early stages of career. Yes ofcourse you can make more money with development and it will give you more secured jobs down the line. Also if you are in automation testing you have more scope if you are in manual testing you have to think about moving because you have good knowledge in dotnet and dont waste it. PS. I was a tester once
