sorting in to Array values within range of two elements of 2nd Array

Question

Hello I am trying to sort every element of Array1 in to different categories. Array1 = 2025305080100 Array2 = 0255075100 so every element of Array must be in rage of Array2. the end result will be: 0 - 25 = 20 25 - 50 = 2530 50 - 75 = 50 75 - 100 = 80100 can any one help me with this. thanks you.

Hi Kintesh did you try what Sam has suggested. Probably not the best solution but it works. The following code requires .Net version 4 so it won't work if your project is not set to use version 4. After this code executes arr3 will have all contents from both arrays and arr3 will have the items sorted. int[] arr1 = new int[] { 10 30 50 70 90 }; int[] arr2 = new int[] { 0 25 50 75 100 }; SortedSet arr3 = new SortedSet (); arr3.UnionWith((IEnumerable )arr1); arr3.UnionWith((IEnumerable )arr2);

thank you Madhu K but i get array out of range error when it gets to the last element i would be 100 but i+1 would be an error.

If I understand what you are asking then you could copy both arrays into a third array and then sort that third array. Then all you need to do is to iterate (loop) through the third araray.
