Tutorial for making eye-candy buttons?

Question

I have several apps on my PC with cool custom buttons - wet-look, shiny, oval. teardrop-shaped, etc. ( For some reason most of these seem to be media players. ) Where can I find a tutorial that explains how to make eye-candy buttons like that in C# using Windows forms?

When I Google for "custom buttons" in C# mostly what I get are really basic ones like how to add a background image to a button. I need a tutorial that goes beyond that.

One way to make custom shaped buttons are setting the region property. Create a GraphicsPath with the shape you want and assign it to region. This can be made to forms or any control having the region property to make forms with rounded corner or whatever.

you could create a nice button image on photoshop for ehich you will find a plenty of articles over the net. And in c# you could add them from the picture box and give the required action on that pictures click event. Hope this is what you were looking for Thanks but as I said how to add an image is pretty widely described - I want more - for instance how do I make a button teardrop shaped?
