Two gridviews to export to multiple sheets of excel

Question

Hi I Have 2 Gridviews Header section of gridviews is bound in row_created event and other data is bind from dataset. Here I need to export 2 gridviews to excel where gridview1 in first sheet and gridview2 in second sheet of excel. I have searched in google but I couldn't get the solution Please help me in solving the problem

Hi srinath here is an article that shows how to do that. The code uses a .NET API from this excel component  essentially what it does is it retrieves a HTML representation of GridView control via RenderControl method and then converts that HTML representation into an Excel file in .NET . Also in case you need this you can even directly export that Excel file to ASP.NET client's browser with a single line of code.

Hello Srinath You can make use of Excel XML format and that will put data in different sheets.
