two questions ( about ILMerge and Yahoo Messenger)

Question

1) I read something about ILMerge... and I can`t understand something...

We can use it to include some dlls in executable... but these dlls can be from .NET?

I mean... if I use IlMerge... i can run my .NET application on a machine without .NET?

or... it`s there some way to run my app? (without .net) 

(Maybe...  we can run some 'personal CLR' on that machine :))  ) I don`t know... 

2) In my country... the most used IM it`s Yahoo Messenger... and of course ... i use it.

  I don`t know  details from other IMs (like skye, msn, talk.. etc) and i wanna know if "BUZZ" from yahoo messenger it`s a Yahoo invention? Or something like that it`s popular service in "IM world"?

   I need to know this... becouse I`m working on a little application and i want to implement that "BUZZ"...
