Menustrip in MDI child form doesn't show when run

Question

Hi

I am using VS 2010 beta version and C#.

I have created an MDichild Form to which i have added the Menustrip item from the toolbar.

I have added menu items also.

but when i am running the application the menu items are not getting displayed.

I have set the AllowMerge Property to True for merging with Parent Form.Still i am not able to go through.

Any one help me!!!!!

You tell me that you are creating a textbox in the child but the textbox is not showing. If you are asking for help with that then be sure to add the control to the form's control collection. For example the following will create and show a form with a textbox in it. Form Form2 = new Form(); Form2.MdiParent = this; TextBox tb = new TextBox(); tb.Dock = DockStyle.Fill; tb.Multiline = true; Form2.Controls.Add(tb); Form2.WindowState = FormWindowState.Maximized; Form2.Show();

Do you have VS 2008 also so you can try it with that? Can you provide simple instructions for reproducing the problem?
