Typing a euro sign € in a DataViewGrid

Question

The keystrokes needed to type a euro sign € are: Alt Gr and 4 (in the qwerty block).

I want to type just a € in a dataviewgrid, but Alt Gr does not seem to invoke the cell edit mode. I can type something else then a € sign, but not a € sign by itself unless I first press F2 or space bar.

Is there a way around this?

Of course there is a way to work around this: Set EditMode of the DataGridView: Dim dgv As DataGridView dgv.EditMode = DataGridViewEditMode.EditOnEnter Don't forget to accept it as answer if it helps you solve problem.
