update large table columns same value

i Have large no of tables in my database i am searching for a column name country dont know whichntable contatins column i need to find out table column and update the column value particulat value like country usa place update ind large tables any body help this query

Hi Please try the below query and let me know if it works for you select * from INFORMATION_SCHEMA.COLUMNS where COLUMN_NAME like '%country%' order by TABLE_NAME This will help you find the table name containing colum. Once you have the table name you easily update it
