upload Excel data to sharepoint list

Hi All I need a solution for the below requirement. Requirement: I need to upload excel data to existing sharepoint 2007 list and the list contains approve status column . for this i need to come with c# code or any OOB feature except import spreedsheet.Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

You can import direct the excel sheet information in custom list in sharepoint. As per my knowledge you no need to do any c# code. Try the following steps. Import excel sheets is available as OOB feature. 1. Go to site settings -> (Custom) Lists -> Import Spreadsheets. Browse for an appropriate file to import. The file will be imported as a list.
