Visual Studio, C# License

Question

Hello,
I'd like to buy Visual Studio or C# but i don't have that much money...what should i do? I mean there is a cheaper or free way to program in c# and sell those programs?
I'm confused here because i hear that the compiler is free, but to program in c# you have to buy it and pay a license fee?
Somebody please can explain this?

As Mike suggested, you can get Visual Studio Express versions from msdn.microsoft.com site for free and they are as good as Visual Studio.

Mike Gold · Answer

Try Visual Studio C# Express.  It's free.
