Web application authentication issue

Hi I have the web application on IIS which is using Active directory to authenticate user but it is not working it displayed unauthenticate user and in windows enventviewer i m getting follwoing error. Event code: 4006 Event message: Membership credential verification failed. my application authentication in windows authentication (NTLM) Thanks for help.

Hi Ahmed This Problem will be due to ASP.NET Membership applicationName setting Please check web config file for the application name settings In web config: So it might be the case when application is not set right. Hope this might helps. Thanks Abhishek
