windows CE CF3.5 connecting to sql server 2000

Question

Dear friends

how are you , hope you are fine and doing well.

i want to connect sql server 2000 from windows CE (smartdevice C# native application). please help me . i got error message

as "sql server does not exist or access denied". but i can ping and explore files of server using server name and IP adress.

why i cant get conect db ..please help me to get solution........
