Can .NET Framework be installed on OS other than Windows like Unix, Linux?

    As per my information microsoft has developed MONOCLR for Linux also it means that we can install Dotnet on Linux.

    Yes .Net Framework can installed on linux  with help of a plug-in(I am not remembering name of plug-in )
