    The responsibilities of a DBA include: 1. Creating and Modifying databases. 2. Creating users and defining specific permissions to them to access the database 3. Backing up and restoring of database. 4. Executing scripts that require elevated permissions.

    Responsibilities of a Database Administrator:

    • Installing and upgrading the Oracle Server and application tools.
    • Allocating system storage and planning future storage requirements for the database system.
    • Managing primary database structures (tablespaces)
    • Managing primary objects (table, views, indexes)
    • Enrolling users and maintaining system security.
