Validation- Is product made according to the product that user intended- "Is Specification correct"

Verification:-  "Is product made according to requirements"

    Verification :

Verification is a process in which information is checked using accurate measures. E.g. when you enter a new password you are asked to retype it to verify that the password supplied is correct.Verification is CORRECTNESS.

    Validation :

Validation however is the automatic process in which rules are applied in order to make information correct,e.g. if the right type of data is entered in a certain cell in a database.Validation is TRUTH.
