Asus Announces ZenBook And VivoBook Series of Windows 10 Powered Laptops

AsusTek, the Taiwan based computer hardware and electronics manufacturer, has announced new series of Windows 10 powered laptops and PCs at its annual Computex event. The new range includes high-end models of ultrathin, ultralight, and superfast notebooks, encapsulating some of the best productivity boosting features of Windows 10, such as Cortana, Windows Hello, Windows Defender, and Windows Ink – as told by the company.
 
The Chairman of ASUSTek Computer Inc., Jonney Shih exclaimed,
 
“Today is all about our relentless effort in striving toward perfection. Our brand-new ZenBook and VivoBook line-up truly goes to the edge of beyond, providing everyone with a new definition of thin, beautiful and powerful laptops.”

The very first laptop in line is the 10.9 mm thin and 1.1 Kg light ASUS ZenBook Flip S that combines sophistication with the convenience and versatility of a 4K UHD multitouch NanoEdge 360° display. Priced at US $1,099, this model will be available this summer.

The next model is ASUS ZenBook Pro which, the company boasts, is “the thinnest, lightest and most powerful ZenBook Pro ever”. The device is very compact with 18.9 mm thickness and 1.8 Kg of weight, with a precision-crafted all-aluminium unibody and 15.6-inch 4K UHD NanoEdge display. This model is priced at USD$1,299, and yes, it will also be available in Summer.

The last in ZenBook Series is ASUS ZenBook 3 Deluxe with all aluminium body that is 12.9 mm-slim and 1.1 kg-light. With a 13-inch-class chassis, the device offers a gorgeous 14-inch NanoEdge ultra-narrow-bezel display. Also, the device is equipped with fingerprint sensor and two Thunderbolt 3- enabled USB Type-C ports for ultra-connectivity. Available this summer, the device will cost you only USD$1,199.

If we talk about VivoBook series, there are two laptops announced - VivoBook S15 and ASUS VivoBook Pro 15. VivoBook S15 is the low-end model with 15.6-inch NanoEdge display with a slim 7.8 mm bezel for more immersive viewing. With a 17.9 mm profile and weighing just 1.5 kg, the device is perfect for those who are constantly on the go. The price range for this model starts from USD$499.

As per the company, VivoBook Pro 15 is the most powerful VivoBook ever with 15.6-in 4K UHD display, gaming-grade NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 graphics card, and hybrid storage that can be specified with up to a 2TB hard disk drive (HDD) and 512GB SSD. The prices for ASUS VivoBook Pro 15 start from USD$799.
