LG Electronics announces a new series of LG Gram laptops specifically designed for Windows 10, at
CES 2017 . What makes these laptops special is the near edgeless touch screen, ultra light-weight models, and built-in fingerprints reader.
The Gram laptop series will have three screen sizes, 13.3 inches, 14.0 inches, and 15.6 inches. So will be their weights - 940 grams, 970 grams, and 1090 grams respectively (well, quite light). The company boasts that the 2017 Gram series will have 60 Watt battery, the highest battery capacity of the industry, till date. Also, there are special features like Daylight Mode in 13.3” and 14” LG Grams to make the laptop screen perfectly visible in broad daylight.

Windows 10, like Windows Ink and Windows Hello. The other specifications include 7th generation Intel Core i7 processors that can simultaneously run multiple memory-intensive programs flawlessly, 512 GB SSD Hard Drive Space, and 16 GB DDR4 Dual Channel RAM Memory; which makes these laptops perfect for everything from programming to day-to-day usage to gaming to heavy corporate usage.
The top 15.6” model is equipped with USB Type-C ports in addition to Thunderbolt port, to allow simultaneous video signal, data transfer, and charging via a single cable. The long battery life is an added advantage, especially for those who spend most of their time on the go.
However, the price and the availability is not disclosed by the company but we expect to see LG Grams in the market very soon.
