Microsoft informs that it is particularly going to be quite a big week for PC and Xbox One gamers who are part of the Xbox and Windows Insider Programs.
Microsoft, in its official blog, states,
“Starting this week, these gamers will see and experience new features from the Windows 10 Creators Update on PC, with additional features expected to hit console in the coming days.”
Let us now see the new features for select Windows Insiders, starting this week.
Built-in Beam streaming
Beam is one of the simplest, easiest, and quickest ways so as to stream gameplay, and it’s part of Insider builds, which would go on to start later this week on Windows 10 PC, with Xbox One functionality releasing to preview soon.
Microsoft states,
“For the creators out there, we wanted to make it easier for you to start your live game streams without any delays so you can quickly connect and engage with your viewers no matter where they are.”

Microsoft informs that on Beam, streams have less than one second of delay, and hence by using the latest streaming protocol dubbed “FTL”, you will now be able to interact with livestreams as if you were in the same room as the caster. Any stream will be able to incorporate simple interactive features, like sound boards. From later this week you will be able to see that on Windows 10 PCs, you can now start Beam broadcasts by pulling up the Game bar – Windows key + G. And soon you will also be able to see that on Xbox One, you will also be able to start streaming directly from inside the Guide.
Gaming section in System Settings
Later this week, you will be able to see inside the main Windows Systems Settings, where a new section is being added - Gaming, identified with the Xbox logo. From this week onwards you will be able to find settings for - Game bar, GameDVR and broadcasting in this new Gaming area, with Game Mode coming in a future update.

Game Mode
This week’s Windows Insider build will go on to represent its very first step towards the journey with Game Mode. In order to enable the Game Mode for your Win32 or UWP game, all you need to do is pull up the Game bar (Windows key +G) and click on the Settings button. For here, you will be able to opt for the running game into using Game Mode.
