The Henry County Public Library System has partnered with local businesses to offer a variety of programs and services to the community.The partnerships include:
Barnes & Noble:
The library will offer a book club at the Barnes & Noble store in McDonough. The club will meet monthly to discuss a selected book.
Chick-fil-A:
The library will offer a storytime program at the Chick-fil-A restaurant in Stockbridge. The program will be held weekly and will feature stories, songs, and activities.
Kroger:
The library will offer a grocery delivery service to homebound patrons. The service will be available to patrons who live within a certain radius of the library.
Walmart:
The library will offer a computer training program at the Walmart store in McDonough. The program will be held weekly and will cover basic computer skills.The library is excited to partner with these local businesses to offer these programs and services to the community. The partnerships will help the library to reach a wider audience and to provide more resources to the community.
Here are some additional details about the partnerships:
- The book club at Barnes & Noble will meet on the first Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. The club is open to all adults.
The storytime program at Chick-fil-A will be held on Wednesdays at 10:00 a.m. The program is open to all children ages 0-5.
- The grocery delivery service from Kroger is available to patrons who live within a 5-mile radius of the library. The service is free for patrons who are 65 years of age or older or who have a disability.
