There are speculations all around about the new
iOS update. Some reports suggest that Apple won’t support iPhone 5 and iPhone 5c devices, but recent reports state that the users with these older devices are getting the new iOS 10.3.2 update.
According to a report by
Forbes, Apple is doing what we never expected. The new iOS update is ending support for iPhone 5 and iPhone 5c users. It means the new iOS 10.3.2, which supports 64-bit, won’t reach every iPhone user. This is also skipping 32-bit devices altogether, which was expected to be done on iOS 11.

Apple is currently beta testing its latest iOS 10.3.2 update and they haven’t given a release date yet. The new update won’t reach an approximate 43.7 million iPhone users. Now, these will be the last 32-bit iPhones to run iOS 10. Unfortunately, they will be forever stuck on iOS 10.3.1. The update only supports devices powered by a 64-bit processor, which means it is not compatible with iPhone 5 or iPhone 5c.
But, to end all the speculation, “
Mac Observer” came out with a new report stating that Apple isn’t ending support for iPhone 5 and iPhone 5c users. The reports states,
"Apple’s developer site includes a restore image for both phone models related to the 10.3.2 beta, and that’s proof they aren’t getting the cold shoulder. In other words, iOS 10.3.2 runs on the iPhone 5 and iPhone 5c, just like it does on newer model iPhones".
This is surely a sign of relief for those 43.7 million Apple users with iPhone 5 and iPhone 5c.
