The update to the NuGet.Server package has been released. The main reason for this update is to address a bug which gets enabled in NuGet.Server that is going to be installed on projects targeting .NET Framework versions less than 4.6.
Earlier, it was seen that the bug in NuGet.Server 2.11.2(3257, 3406) was because it had been incorrectly considered to be compatible with projects mainly aimed at .NET Framework prior to 4.6. However, on installing, the build would fail due to a missing NuGet.Server reference. The new update would ensure that you will not be able to install NuGet.Server with incompatible projects.
The latest NuGet.Server version 2.11.3 is now available for
download, and it comes with fixes which will help new users of the package who might be using the wrong project type.
