Today at its annual developer conference, Samsung launched a new disk-shaped camera called “360 Round” that includes 17 lenses and shoots 360 videos.
The camera is designed for professionals who want to record and live stream high quality content for virtual reality. 360 Round can live stream 4K 3D video at 30FPS while also capturing spatial audio with its six built-in microphones.
Loaded with 17 cameras with a 1/2.8-inch, 2MP image sensor and f/1.8 lens, the camera weight is 1/93kb/4.25 lbs. It has 6 internal microphones. It has 10GB of RAM and 40GB of internal memory and up to 2TB SSD.
The camera is expected to go on sale sometime this month in the United States. The speculated price of the camera is around $10,500.
