Telerik Nokia Lumia WP7 Skins

After the Nokia announcement of the Nokia Lumia Windows  Phone, Telerik launched new Nokia Lumia WP7 skins for developers. In this post I will show you step to install them,
 
Skins look like below,






 
Step 1
 
Download Nokia Lumia WP7 Emulator skins from here. You will get Skins top download as a ZIP file in the other section

Step 2
 
Unzip the downloaded folder. You will get three types of skins 

• Nokia Lumia 710 Telerik

• Nokia Lumia 710 white

• Nokia Lumia 710 Black

You can choose any of them.
 
Step 3
 
Navigate to folder
 
C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft XDE\1.0\
 
Step 4
 
Take a backup of the below four files. These are the default skin


Step 5
 
After taking the backup, copy and paste the files from any folder of above three to the above location. I copied files from the Nokia Lumia 710 Telerik folder.
 
Now go ahead and run a Windows Phone application in the Emulator, you should see the new Telerik Skin.
