Removing hierarchy from SQL cube Dimension

We have seen how we can create hierarchy in cube dimension in my previous article "Creating hierarchies in SQL cube".

Now we can check the different ways to remove the added hierarchies.

1. Removing the entire hierarchy: We can remove the entire hierarchy by right clicking the hierarchy from the designer and click the delete from context menu. See the attached screen shot.



2. Remove the one of the Hierarchy level by dragging the element from the "Hierarchies" pane to "Attributes" pane.



3. Remove the one of the Hierarchy level deleting the element from the "Hierarchies" pane
