Entity framework is an ORM framework.

Entity Framework
(EF) is an object-relational mapper that enables .NET developers to work with relational data using domain-specific objects. It eliminates the need for most of the data-access code that developers usually need to write.

  1. Create a new Asp.NET Empty Web Site.
    Click on File, WebSite, then ASP.NET Empty Web Site.

  4. Now, add the Entity Data Model,

  5. Select Generate from database.

  9. Right click on Project. Select Add, then Add New ITtem,

  10. Drag and drop GridView control,

  12. Drag and drop EntityDataSource control,

  13. Select Connection,

  14. Select configure data section.

  15. Select EntityDataSource for GridView.

  16. Press F5 to execute.
