Introduction
In a QlikView straight table, it is very useful for business users. A straight table is used to show the regular metrics to business users. In a QlikView application, a straight table hs different and interesting properties.
So let's start with the procedure to create a straight table in QlikView.
Step 1: Open the QlikView application
In the first step you need to open the QlikView application then go to, File-> New, then this window will be opened.

Step 2: Open Edit Script
The second step is to open the edit script window from, File-> Edit Script.

Step 3: Click on table files

Now open the table file and click on the Open button.

Then this window will be opened. Here you can see your table file table and click on the Finish button.

Step 5: Code of edit script
Now, in the edit script the web file was upload successfully and reload it.

Step 6: Save file
The next step is to save our QlikView file.

Step 7: Sheet property window
The sheet property window will be opened. In this window you add the fields that you want to display as a table and click on the OK button.

Step 8: Main window
Then you will see this window.

Step 9: Select table
In the menu bar, there is an option for layout, click on layout and select table box.

Step 10: New table box
In this window we select fields and click on the Next button.

Now you can see data will be uploaded from the data files.

Step 11: Select chart
In the menu bar, there is an option for layout then click on layout and select chart.

Step 12: Select straight table
In this window select straight table and click on the Next button.

Step 13: Add dimension
Now in this window, add dimension for calculated data and click on the Next button.

Step 14: Edit expression
Now add an expression for a straight table and click on the Ok button.

Step 15: Add anther expression
Now click on the add button to add a new expression.

Then this window will be opened and click on the Ok button.

Now you can see the straight table with a total number of rankings and population.

If you select any data from the table then the straight table shows the total rank and population of the city.

Step 16: If you want to show the total of rank and population below the table then go to the properties of the straight table.

Step 17: In the straight table property select the presentation tab and set these settings and then click on the Ok button.

Now you see the total below the table.
