Geting Account Details of User Windows Store Apps Using JavaScript

Introduction

In this article I describe creation of an app for accessing the user's account name, first and last name and profile picture. This is only available for Microsoft Accounts. For this app you first add a new folder named html by right-clicking on your project name and add four HTML pages:

  1. page1.html
  2. page2.html
  3. page3.html
  4. page4.html
Now add four JavaScript pages:
  1. script1.js
  2. script2.js
  3. script3.js
  4. script4.js
Add a new folder named utill and the following pages:
  1. One HTML page named select.html
  2. One .js page named utill.js
  3. One .css page named stylesheet.cs
