Windows 8 User Interface (U.I)
We will discuss the Windows 8 UI.
Windows 8 definitely has a very impressive user interface which has been
almost improved to a Metro style, which will present to you the important peices
of information with complete simplicity and allows you to have control over it.
Microsoft's Metro user interface that has appeared in various different forms,
and its Windows Phone OS already gave an insight to what Windows can do with its
unique and friendly design.
The direct interaction to mouse, keyboard, touch navigation etc. is provided by
the user interface.
Windows 8 is developed by Microsoft with the Touch Screen technology in
mind. By their new innovations Microsoft provides developers with new challenges
and opportunities that can be explored. The gesture and voice control
technologies of Windows 8 is going to have a major role in the interaction
between humans and computers, as compared to Apple and Google. In Windows 8
Microsoft implements some of the major changes in Windows which is the basic OS
of PCs.

Windows 8 Start Screen - The Start
screen is yet another affecting UI. The screen basically groups all your
applications together, which you can easily drag and drop, or add new things.
Windows 8 Logo Screen - Unlike the
traditional way of entering a password to unlock the screen, Windows 8 can be
unlocked by just tapping on the right areas of the screen.

Windows 8 Minimum System Requirements
It is reported that Windows 8 is expected to have the same system requirements
as Windows 7, and will run on existing machines that run Windows 7. Here are the
following minimum system requirements to run Windows 8:
Processor: 1GHz or faster 32-bit or 64-bit processor
RAM: 1GB (32-bit) or 2GB (64-bit)
HD Space: 16GB for 32-bit (or 20GB for 64-bit)
