In this article we are explaining how to set your default browser in Windows 8. If you have multiple web browsers installed on your Windows 8 system and if you want to set Internet Explorer 10 as your default browser in Windows 8 then you can set it with the help of the "Set Default programs" window.

You can set the default web browser with the help of this article. Windows 8 helps you to set the default web browser. You move the cursor to the bottom-right and click on the search box. In the search box type the "Default Programs" and click on it and use the following the steps. These are given below with the help of figures.

Steps How to Set Your Default Web Browser in Windows 8

Step 1: Move the cursor to the bottom-right and select the search box and enter into the search box what you want.

Step 2: In the search box you enter the Default Programs under the application tab and click on the window that is shown.

Step 3: In this step, you click on "Set Your Default Programs".

Step 4: In this step, you will see the "Set Default Programs Window". You move the cursor on the left pane and select whatever web browser you want to set as your default browser and click on "Set This Program as Default".
