Generally we print a Word document without background colors and images. But sometimes we do need to print the Word document with the background colors and images, although that uses a lot of ink. Printing a document with the background colors and images is more expensive. To enable it one-time only is very useful.
To print a Word document with the background colors and images use the following procedure.
Step 1
Open Word 2013 and click on the "File" Tab.

Step 2
Choose the "Option" button from the "backstage" view.

Step 3
Now the Word option window will be opened.

Step 4
Choose the "Display" tab and then check the box titled "Print background colors and images" and finally click on the "Ok" button.

Step 5
Now use the "Print" command; the background colors and images will be printed with the document. See:

Note: As stated previously, this can use a lot of ink. So you may want to keep this disabled until you are ready to print colored copies.
