How To Create A System Image In Windows 10

Introduction

 

A System Image is the copy of the drivers required for Windows to run properly. The system image can be used to restore your computer to a previous perfectly working state.

 

To create a system image, you can follow these steps.

 

Step 1 - Firstly, right click on the Start icon and then, select Control Panel.

 

Step 2 - In this step, select the File History.

 

 

Step 3 - Now, select "System Image Backup" from the bottom of the left pane.

 

 

Step 4 - Click on "Create a system image" option, showing up in the left pane.

 

 

 

Step 4 - When you click on "Create a system image", you are asked to select the location where you want to save that image file. Select the location and click "Next".

 

 

Step 5 - The next window will ask you to confirm the location. If everything looks fine, click "Start backup" button.

 

 

That's it. Now, the image of your perfectly running system is being stored at your preferred location in your system.You can use it whenever you need to restore your system to these settings.
