In this article, I have explained how to subscribe to Microsoft Office 365.
If you need an Office 365 trial subscription, you need the basic prerequisites.
- Valid Microsoft Outlook email ID
- Valid mobile number to verify the account you created for subscription
Step 1
Signup for a new Outlook email id.
Open Office 365 site https://outlook.live.com/owa/

Let’s sign up.
Provide the username, password, mobile number and alternate email address etc…. to create an Outlook account.
After successful signup, your new mail box will be created.

Now, navigate to https://products.office.com/en-in/business/office-365-enterprise-e3-business-software
Go to Product -> Free Trial.

Pick the country, provide first name and last name of the person, provide the business email address and mobile number, provide the company name and organization size.
It should look like below.

Note - This is the example for my subscription.
Click Next. Then, provide the login name for accessing your subscription.

Provide the password for authentication.

Oops! Password must be case sensitive. After successful password validation, click "Create My Account".
Oh! There is the final step.

Provide your country code and mobile number for verification -> Click "Text me".

You have 2 options - "Text me" and "Call me".
Enter the verification number you receive.

Click Next.

So, all done. You can now save your User ID and the login page URL.
Next, click "You’re ready to go" and you will get your dashboard all set. Some of the things may take time in setting up.

Now, let’s go inside the Admin panel.
Go to Menu -> Admin.

In admin dashboard, you can create and manage Users, Domains, Support requests, Billing Details and Software Installations. Now, create a SharePoint site collection.
Let’s navigate to Admin Centers - > Sharepoint.

Click New -> Private Site Collection.
Pick the Site Title, URL and Template, and Username.

Click OK.
So as of now, the site collection has been successfully created under Office 365 subscription.
