Create a New Resource In Office 365
In this blog, you will learn how to create a new resource in Office 365.
Create a New Resource
- In Project Web App, select Resources or Resource Center link from the Quick Launch menu. The system opens the Resource Center page.
- On the page, you can select any resources for editing or you can select none. Notice the hidden selector menu that appears over the checkbox column in the grid when you float your mouse pointer over the column header. This is a characteristic of the grid object and applies to many pages in the system. Use this to clear all the selections.
- Select one resource. Click Open button in the Editing section on the Resources ribbon. The system opens the Enterprise Resource Pool for editing. Notice that Project 2016 displays "Checked-out Enterprise Resources — Microsoft Project" at the top of the screen.
- In the first blank line in the Resource Sheet view of the enterprise resource pool, add a new Work resource , using the resource information shown in the table.
