Microsoft Surface 2.0 SDK Available Soon
Besides social media, cloud computing, smart phones and tables buzzes around the industry, there is one more technology is that is going to play a major role in very near future – Microsoft surface. When I saw surface preview in year 2005, it was kind of very new at that point but needs are here now. Surface needs are knocking the door.
Windows 8 loaded with multi-touch and voice enabled features makes a perfect sense for surface to take off.
Luis Cabrera recently announced the Microsoft Surface SDK 2.0 releasing on July 12th. From his blog -
Today I'm excited to share with you resources that should improve our partner's ability to design and develop Surface Applications to support the next generation device – the Samsung SUR40 for Microsoft Surface. We are going to launch a “center of excellence” for Surface development that includes the new SDK, and a program to allow qualified partners to reap important marketing benefits.
So why surface?
In brief, surface technology enables hardware such as a coffee table, your wall, or even your refrigerator to make it your touch computer and run wirelessly from your main CPU. In other words, days are not far when a wall will be a computer screen and you can use it to watch movies, browse internet and even write your code.
