Office 365 announced a new, important update for SharePoint mobile apps (iOS & Android) — notifications.
Receive notifications when new articles are published
Users can be in touch by receiving notifications on their mobile devices from "SharePoint". When someone posts a new article that is important and relevant to a sphere of work, or posts to a site that users are active in, notifications are pushed in the device’s notification tray.
Me tab
The new SharePoint Me tab is a place to catch up on important things going on around users. This is the one-stop place to find recent files, lists, pages, and news posts. Using the "Save for later" button, the users can save news, pages, and files for later reading.
