A big shock awaiting for me in the recent installation of SQL Server 2014. I don’t have BIDS in it. Microsoft provides us only SQL Server Management Studio in its installation and they didn’t provide you the BIDS.
Exploring Microsoft site, BIDS is not associated with SQL Server Installation and it’s coming in Visual Studio IDE which really makes more sense for me. Still digging, here is the
URL to download the BIDS for your Visual Studio. I got my VS 2013 in my machine.
If you have any other version of VS. Go ahead and search for SSDT tools for your VS version.
Here is another link,
After installing, goto File->New->Project. Under Templates, Business Intelligence-> Integration Services. Am able to access my Integration Services Project.
Time for you to explore more. Wishes.
