Addedit word doc in asp.net ...!!!

Question

hii

m creating one web application something like online document management...

i had tried using zoho word editor..

it gives me the reditected page to zoho's exportwriter page..

bt i need to integrate the zoho's editor into my asp web page like in div or other tag for edit,update purpose of word doc ...

please help me ....

Satyapriya the first link is an article that uses C# with a word automation  but Microsoft does not recommend the use of any office automation on server side reasons why are listed here . The second link looked really simple and straightforward but the generated sample file (\document\Test.doc) is not of a DOC format but rather it is a HTML file with a DOC extension. kritika if you need to process newer word documents (DOCX) then you can check out OpenXML SDK . You would read DOCX with it convert it to HTML and use any HTML WYSIWYG editor. If you need to process DOCX file format in .NET but also an older DOC file format in .NET then you need some other approach. For example here is a library that can convert both DOC and DOCX documents to HTML in .NET and here you can find a small demonstration sample of its usage on ASP.NET. You will notice that there is a direct API for exporting Word document in ASP.NET . Hope this helps.
