Backing up files...Writing a program to do this

Hi guys I was just wondering are there any built in classes etc I should look at if I was going to create a program to backup data from one location to another?? I don't want help with how to do any code as I need to do this myself. But I just wondered are there any built in functions etc I should research into that will help me when I come to write it? Thank You Daniel

Well the System.IO namespace is the place to look and in particular the Directory File DirectoryInfo FileInfo and DriveInfo classes. The first two are just 'static versions of the second two.
